CANFLY

Symposium/Conference
When
June 9–13, 2019

CANFLY XV 2019

The Canadian Drosophila Research Conference is the second largest North American Meeting on Drosophila research, and provides a unique platform for over 80 Canadian Drosophila labs to exchange and discuss their latest findings and ideas. A few US labs usually also attend the meeting. CanFly is open to any topics and tries to represent the immense diversity of contemporary Drosophila research. Apart from presentations by group leaders, we strongly encourage postdoctoral researchers and graduate students to give talks at this meeting. In addition to oral presentations, 50-60 research posters will be viewed during three separate sessions. The poster sessions are especially important to encourage face-to-face discussions between group leaders and trainees, thus allowing the next generation of scientists to interact and network.

CanFly XV will be held at the Chestnut Residence and Conference Centre, in downtown Toronto, June 9-13, 2019. The Chestnut Residence and Conference Centre is steps away from museums, restaurants, Chinatown, the Eaton Centre, and the Toronto Entertainment District. Do not miss the opportunity to visit one of the most diverse cities in the world!
